The service shall provide the possibility to receive information from the Register of Natural Persons regarding the person's current personal code and information regarding the previous personal codes, if any.
The news interrogator shall indicate in the electronic request the identity number of the person for which the existing or previous personal code is required. The person's name is not provided in the service.
Information shall also be provided in the service if the person whose personal identity number is being verified has died or has lost legal status in the Republic of Latvia.
Receipt of services
The service shall be available to authenticated users after payment of the State fee EUR 2.00 for the verification of the person code known to the service user in Latvia.
