On August 21, 2025, the Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs was visited by Gennady Poleshchuk, Head of the Repatriation Service of the NATIV representative office under the Prime Minister’s Office of Israel, Maxim Zlotnik, Representative of the NATIV Consulate in Latvia, and Yoel Lipowitzky, Director of the Population Authority of the Israeli Population and Immigration Authority (PIBA). They met with the Head of the Office, Maira Roze. NATIV is responsible for matters related to the repatriation of Israeli citizens. PIBA, on the other hand, is a government agency of Israel responsible for the population register and immigration issues.
