In order to prepare your computer for operations with the personal certificate, you must choose a version of eID that is appropriate to the operating system of your computer and install it.

Installation of the eID middleware can only be performed with the administrator’s rights of your computer’s operating system. After a successful installation of the middleware, you will be asked to restart the computer. Only after the restart the middleware will fully function.
Having installed the eID middleware, you must connect a smart card reader to your computer and install the smart card reader driver, if the operating system of your computer does not automatically find the smart card reader and the necessary drivers.
When the computer is prepared for operations with the personal certificate and the personal certificate has been inserted into a smart card reader, choose any usage of the electronic signature, for example, eSignatory 3.0, and act in accordance with the user’s manual.
