If you have been granted temporary protection in Latvia (a visa or temporary residence permit has been issued, or a personal identification number has been issued) and you are going to leave Latvia to return to Ukraine or go to another country, you must submit an application for temporary protection status and visa or temporary residence to the Directorate of Citizenship and Migration Affairs cancellation of permission.
The application can be submitted:
- none in the territorial department of the Directorate of Citizenship and Migration Affairs out of line (https://www.pmlp.gov.lv/lv/filiales)
- none of the 138 State and local government unified customer service centers (VVPKAC);
- if you are outside Latvia - at the diplomatic or consular representation of the Republic of Latvia in the country: https://www.mfa.gov.lv/lv;
- if you have been granted an electronic signature in the Republic of Latvia, the application can also be approved electronically and signed with a secure electronic signature, by the Directorate of Citizenship and Migration Affairs to the electronic mail address: pasts@pmlp.gov.lv.
If your minor children or persons under guardianship or guardianship are traveling with you, you must fill in for each of these persons.
