According to the latest data from Passport Reports, the Latvian passport ranks 21st in the world among passports from 199 countries, providing access to 156 destinations.
As previously reported, the Latvian passport ranks 4th in the world according to the global Passport Index.
Meanwhile, the Henley Passport Index has ranked the Latvian passport 7th in the world in 2026, up from 10th place last year.
Differences between passport rankings are due to the methodologies used, including how entry requirements are classified and how ties are handled when passports achieve the same score.
