Persons, who wish to receive a certificate of a member of the national resistance movement, need to turn with a submission to their municipality.
Starting as of 24 October 2009, the Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs produces the certificates of new specimen for politically repressed persons and members of the national resistance movement, upon the presentation of which, the persons may receive the allowances determined by law at medical institutions, state and municipal institutions or public transportation.
The new certificates are ID-2 size (105x74mm) laminated cards, which include the following information from the Register of Natural Persons:
- name (names) and surname of the holder of the certificate;
- personal identity number of the holder of the certificate;
- photograph of the holder of the certificate;
- certificate number and date of issue;
- issuing authority;
- authority granting the status and decision number.
