Necessary documents for issuing the certificate:
- application form for issuing a politically repressed person's identity card;
- identity document (passport or identity card);
- 1 photograph (35 x 45 mm).
Documents can be submitted to the Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs:
- using the official electronic eAddress;
- by sending by post to any territorial department of the OCMA;
- with a secure electronic signature, by sending an e-mail to any territorial department of the OCMA.
If a person has not been granted a status of a politically repressed person, in order to receive the certificate, at first the submission should be submitted regarding acquisition of a status of a politically repressed person and one of the documents referred to in Section 3, Paragraph two or Section 5, Paragraph two of the Law on Determination of the Status of a Politically Repressed Person for Victims of the Communist and Nazi Regimes, confirming the fact of repression.
