Documents are submitted to and received by a territorial division of the OCMA regardless of the declared place of residence, by pre-appointment or by standing in line.
You may apply for the issuance of a personal identification document by using the following options:
- in order of entry, without making a pre-appointment,, but upon arrival at the nearest Administration department. The service is provided by Sigulda, Līvāni, Krāslava and Smiltene divisions only by pre-appointment;
- applying to the queue remotely at a specific division, on a specific day, using the Qticket mobile app by downloading it from Google Play or the App store;
- by making a pre-appointment for a specific date and time on website.
A person who resides abroad or stays there for a long time may apply for a personal identification document at the consular or diplomatic mission of the Republic of Latvia; contact information is available HERE.
