RESIDENCE PERMITS

What documents must be submitted, if you want to get a residence permit in Latvia as a person who possesses sufficient means of subsistence, has reached the statutory retirement age in the Republic of Latvia and is entitled to enter the Republic of Latvia in accordance with procedures laid down in international agreements on visa waiver regime binding upon the Republic of Latvia.

You shall present a valid travel document admitted in the Republic of Latvia and submit the following documents:

• a definite sample form for a residence permit request;
• a photography;
• a document confirming the necessary subsistence;
• a document confirming the envisaged place of residence in the Republic of Latvia;
• a document confirming the state duty payment.
