RESIDENCE PERMITS

Documents to be submitted in order to receive a residence permit in the Republic of Latvia in connection with the family unification and you are up to the third step relative vertically or the third step relative horizontally or a brother/sister-in-law up to the third step to a citizen or a non-citizen of Latvia or to a foreigner holding a permanent residence permit, a child of age of a citizen of Latvia or parents of a citizen of Latvia or a non-citizen of Latvia are as follows:

You shall present a valid travel document admitted in the Republic of Latvia and submit the following documents:

• a definite sample form for a residence permit request;

• a photography;

• a statement on fluorography or x-ray examining results;

• a document confirming the necessary subsistence;

• a document approving the envisaged place of residence in the Republic of Latvia and the rights to stay there;

• a document confirming the state duty payment;

• copies of documents confirming relationship.

Before the submission of documents of your inviter shall approve the call at the Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs Foreigners Service Centre or at a territorial office.
